What we do

We have a highly skilled neuro team that consists of clinical specialist Occupational Therapists, specialist occupational therapy technicians, and highly skilled rehabilitation assistants. We understand that when you are diagnosed with a long term and often-chronic neurological condition, services are often only available when you are at crisis point. We recognise that you are an expert in your condition and your needs, and this expertise enables you to understand when you require support.

Our neurological rehabilitation service seeks to fill in the gaps left by social care and the NHS for the times when you are not in crisis, but you need some input, support or maintenance therapy to enable you to keep your skills and continue to be able to engage in meaningful and purposeful activity.

Our neurological rehabilitation service can provide short term specialist intervention, longer term goal focus treatment or continuous maintenance therapy dependent on your need. You have the opportunity to work with a specialist and during this time, it is led by the one true expert (you). This service can be accessed instantly and without the need to meet external ‘criteria’.

Accessing social care or NHS community services is challenging at best and due to the demand on the services it is common for lengthy waiting lists. Unfortunately, these delays cause stress, a sense of isolation and often an exacerbation in your difficulties which you know could have been avoided if you had received support when you first requested it.

Our highly specialist team of Occupational Therapists is just that, a team. We are not sole practitioners where you have to wait until we have space or availability, and our team extends to occupational therapy technicians and rehabilitation assistants which means if you want to be seen once a week or every day, we can accommodate this and be reactive to your needs.
