Profile of our customers:

Stanford Wellbeing customers can be anyone over the age of 18 who requires care support. Stanford Wellbeing will provide a free specialist assessment which will enable the person to develop their bespoke care package that can include companionship, personal care and specialist rehabilitation care.

Stanford Wellbeing has specialist trained carers who are able to provide companionship and personal care to people who have complex care needs as a result of injury or illness, these can include:

  • Dementia
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Acquired Brain Injury (including Stroke)
  • Spinal Injuries
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Motor Neurone Disease

In addition to companionship and personal care, the team at Stanford Wellbeing can provide specialist rehabilitative care which can help with the management of complex impairments and help minimise the impact this condition has on daily life. This intervention can take the form of: 

  • Specialist positioning
  • Assistance with therapy exercises
  • Complex hoisting needs
  • Monitoring of baseline skills
  • Reporting and liaising with a clinical team to minimize impact of negative changes
  • Provision and training in the use of specialist equipment
  • Training of informal carers
  • Environmental assessments
  • Specialist cognitive intervention including community integration training
