Occupational therapy home visits and environmental assessments

One of the key skills of Occupational Therapists is to provide extensive and holistic environmental assessments of the persons home following illness or disability.

Following the completion of your assessment our Occupational Therapists will provide an extensive written report which you can give to your local council in application for a disabled facilities grants (DFG) or to your specialist adaptations builder to develop plans and schedules of work to facilitate a more inclusive environment in your home.

Our team of Occupational Therapists can visit your home without the need for you to be placed on lengthy waiting lists based on complex criteria’s. Our goal is Occupational Therapists is to provide support to overstretched social services departments by completing home assessments and getting you off of that lengthy waiting list.

Our Occupational Therapists are ‘Essex grown’ which means they have all worked in the social care departments and we have positive relationships with the statutory services, and we can often support clients with their interactions with their local council.
